Thank you for choosing Vet To You, we look forward to meeting you and your pet soon.
Vet To You – Service Terms & Conditions.
- Payment is required in full at the time of consultation by Credit Card, Direct bank deposit or cash.
- An owner aged 18+ years must be at home at the time of the visit and be able to help restrain the animal.
- In order to facilitate the appointment, please keep your pet indoors in a small area of the house for easier access and handling when we arrive.
- Depending on your pets temperament for examination, we may need to prescribe sedation for your pet and return for the examination at a later date.
- We may need to refer to a Veterinary clinic of your choice if hospitalisation, surgery or more extensive diagnostic services are required, or if we are unable to examine your pet without extra assistance.
- We are not an emergency service. Please call the Animal Emergency Centre (AEC) in Moorabbin on 9532 5261 if you require urgent Veterinary care. We aim to reply to phone or email messages within 24 hours (Mon – Fri).
- Vaccines, medications, euthanasia or other services are charged in addition to the consultation fee.
- Initial consultations may take approximately 30-45 minutes, follow up visits or injection only visits may be shorter. If your pet has complex health concerns or multiple issues that can not be fully dealt with during a standard consultation time, priority will be made for the issues that are affecting your pets quality of life, and a revisit appointment will be made to address the rest of your pets health concerns.
- The revisit consultation fee applies to consultations for the same condition within a 4 week period.
- The short injection revisit fee applies to a patient having regular visits for an ongoing medication given by injection, for example for arthritis management.
- If a pet is unable to be handled due to temperament or cannot be found during the appointment a consultation fee will still apply.
- Your pet must have been examined by Vet To You in the past 6 months for us to be able to prescribe ongoing medication. New prescriptions will require an examination prior to dispensing.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged a consultation fee.
If you have any concerns or questions about any of the above please contact us prior to the first appointment so we can further discuss any questions you may have.
